28 June, 2022: The Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (HPBOSE) usually announces the HP Board Class 10 Result as well as the HP Board 12th Result 2022 during the month of May.In the year 2022, the exam is conducted in two terms for both class 10th and 12th. In the academic year 2021-2022, the class 10th Term 1 exams were conducted from 20 November to 3 December 2021. This year, for Term 1 Class 10th results were declared on February 10th. For Term 2, according to the announcement on 6th March 2022, the exams were scheduled to be held from 26 March 2022 to 8 April 2022, now the last date has been extended to 13 April 2022.

The results for HP board class 10th are expected to be released on 29 June 2022. The HPBOSE officially conducts the State Open School Matric Examination (SOS) Class 10 exams during the month of March. You can check your HP Board Class 10 Result 2022 on this page.

In 2021, the Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (HPBOSE) Class 10th exams were canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic. The HPBOSE Class 10th 2021 results were declared on July 5, 2021. The result of students in class 10th has been calculated based on their performance in the pre-board exams as well as in the first and second terms. A total of 1,16,954 students applied for the HPBOSE 10th Board Exams 2021. The State Open School Matric Examination (SOS) Class 10 exams 2021 exam was disrupted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The State Open School Matric Examination (SOS) Class 10 exams result was announced on 19 Jul 2021. Those who did not succeed in clearing the exams had the option of taking the compartment exams or appearing for the papers again next year. Sources inform that the HP Board Class 10 Result are expected to be declared in May and SOS results in June 2022.

About Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE)

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education is an agency of the Government of Himachal Pradesh. It was founded in the year 1969 as per Himachal Pradesh Act No. 14 of 1968 with its headquarters at Shimla which was later shifted to Dharamshala in January 1983. Its primary function is to prepare academic programmes, prescribe courses of instruction by preparing syllabi for the students and conducting examinations for secondary school students in Himachal Pradesh. HP Board conducts examination for the following classes and courses: 10th, 10+2, J.B.T and T.T.C. As many as 5 Lakh candidates annually appear in the examination conducted by the Board. The board has its jurisdiction from elementary level to senior secondary level and also provides textbooks for all classes from Class 1 to Class 12. In addition to these, the board has set up 26 book distribution/information centres across the state to better equip students by catering to their needs.
