PSEB Result 2023 And Exam Dates Information

PSEB Results 2023: The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) is expected to announce the Punjab board class 10th results 2023 in the month of May/June. The results for Punjab board class 12th will also be announced in the month of May/June, 2023. As per the examination dates announced by the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB), the Senior Secondary (Class 12) exam will begin from 20th February and will end on 21st April 2023. The PSEB Matriculation (class 10) exams will be conducted in the month of March starting 24th March and will end on 20th April 2023. In 2020 and 2021,PSEB had cancelled the Class 10th board examinations, and candidates were promoted on the basis of their pre-board exams due to nationwide Covid lockdown.

2019 onwards, teachers allocated to answer sheet checking duty have been asked to send the marks and other details to the board via the Evaluation Marking App. Unlike earlier years, where the marks on answer sheets had to be sent to the board via post, the app aims at making the evaluation process simpler, quick and relatively error free.

Every year lakhs of students appear for the PSEB Matriculation and Senior Secondary exams at centres across the state of Punjab. In 2019, almost 6.45 lakh students appeared for the Matriculation and Senior Secondary exams. In order to check the results for the PSEB Matriculation and Senior Secondary exams held in 2023, students can check the website, www.examresults.net. The Punjab board result for both, PSEB Matriculation and Senior Secondary are expected in May/June 2023. The basic steps to check the Punjab board results 2023 are:

Punjab School Education Board Result Declaration Pattern

Traditionally, the PSEB Matriculation results are announced in the month of May. This year,the results will be announced in the month of May/June. Similarly, the Senior Secondary results 2023 are also generally announced in May but this year, it is expected to be announced in June, .

Punjab Education Board Result Pass Percentage Pattern

6.12 lakh students appeared for the Senior Secondary and PSEB Matriculation exams held by the Punjab board in last year 2017. In the year the overall pass percentage of students who appeared in the PSEB Matriculation exam was 57.50% and for the Senior Secondary exam was 62.36%.
