AP ECET is a popular engineering entrance exam, first proposed by Ministry of Human Resource Development in Feb 2010. Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET) is conducted every year by State Council of Higher Education for Diploma Holders, B.sc (Mathematics) degree holders to study B.E /B. Tech in the state of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. All the candidates who qualify in the AP ECET exam are given direct admissions to 2nd year of B.E/ B. Tech and B. Pharmacy courses in their respective branches through lateral entries.
