Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Exams (DGE) conducts the SSLC exams every year in March and April. As a result of the COVID-19 outbreak last year, the exam for academic session 2020-21 was postponed, and the results were based on half-yearly and quarterly examinations.

Tamil Nadu Board Result Declaration Pattern

The TN SSLC results for the year 2017 and 2018 were declared on 19th May and 23rd May respectively. In 2019, the TN SSLC results were declared in the month of April i.e. 29th April. About Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education

The Directorate of Government Examinations was formed as a separate Directorate in 1975 in the month of February. The first secondary school leaving certificate examination was conducted in 1911. In 1980, it started the HSC examination. Every year, nearly 7 lakhs students appear for both TN Board SSLC Exams and TN Board HSC Exams.
