West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination, WBJEE 2020

February 24, 2020: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) is conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) for admission to professional undergraduate and post graduate level courses offered across various colleges & universities in West Bengal. The WBJEE result 2020 is expected to be declared in the last week of March 2020.

The WBJEE which is a common entrance examination is conducted for admission to professional courses, at Universities, Government Colleges as well as Self-financing Engineering and Technological Institutes situated in West Bengal at the undergraduate and post graduate level in Engineering and Technology, Pharmacy, and Architecture.

The WBJEE 2020 will be conducted in offline mode to test the aptitude of candidates in three subjects which are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. As per the official WBJEEB website, the WBJEE 2020 exam will be held on February 2, 2020. The results will be declared tentatively on 27 March 2020.

WBJEE 2020 Eligibility

Candidates who wish to apply must be at least 17 years of age as on December 31, 2020. There is no upper age limit for WBJEE 2020. The only exception to this case is Marine Engineering courses where the upper age limit is 25 years of age as on December 2020. The candidates also need to be Indian citizens, and in case they are applying in the reserved category have a domicile status of West Bengal. Students who are poised to give their WBJEE 2020 and will be awaiting their WBJEE 2020 results need to have all met these requirements.

How to Check WBJEE Results 2020

Every year lakhs of students appear for the WBJEE at centres across the state of West Bengal. In 2018, the exam was conducted across 22 districts, 20 of which were within the state of West Bengal and two outside the state. In order to check the West Bengal Joint Entrance Result 2020, students can check the official website and the website, www.examresults.net. WBJEE this year is to be conducted on May 26, 2020. The results are to be declared (tentatively) on 2nd July 2020. The basic steps to check the WBJEE 2020 are:

• Log onto examresults.net
• Type the desired state name, for example, examresults.net/wb/.
• Look for the desired button, for example the button that says WBJEE Results Click Here.
• Click on the link and fill in your details, including Application Number and Password to get your WBJEE Results 2020.

Once you get your West Bengal Jee Result 2020 you will receive a score card which will have the following details:

• Roll Number
• Application Number
• Password
• Total Marks
• Composite Marks in Paper 1 (Mathematics) and Paper 2 (Physics & Chemistry)
